Santa Barbara County Naturalizations
The earliest date found in the Naturalized Citizens Index was 1854. Records from 1854 though 1906 presently are being digitized offsite. Most records dated after September 1906 are available on microfilm at the National Archives and the Family History Center using the Date of Admission as the reference and/or the Certificate of Naturalization number (found on the Certificate of Naturalization in one of the Volumes in the Superior Court Clerk's Office, the index for which is listed below).
There are also books containing Declarations of Intention and Petitions for Naturalization in the Superior Court Clerk’s Office.
